Jan Josef Štursa (May 15, 1880, Nove Mesto na Morave - May 2, 1925, Prague) was a Czech sculptor, born in Nove Mesto, one of the founders of Czech modern sculpture. The basic material was for him bronze and stone. His teacher and idol J. V. Myslbek was his talent delighted belonged to his best students, but later Myslbeks classic work came into conflict with his own sensitive and freestyle creation. Hana Kvapilová (born name Kubešová, November 29, 1860 Prague - April 8, 1907 in Prague) was a Czech actress of the National Theatre.
